TCP HELPLINE SERVICE
This telephone conference service is available
should you need prompt, cost effective advice on a one off
compliance issue. The service might be used
in the following ways:
- To
check how the November 2009 changes to Rule 9 might affect your business.
- How
best to construct a commission arrangement with a third party to
comply with Rule 2.06.
- Changes
you might need to make to your anti-money laundering procedures.
- The
best way to give costs information in a particular area of law.
- A
second opinion on a client compliant you are dealing with.
- How
the new Rules permitting Legal Disciplinary Practices might assist your
business.
- An
update on an SRA consultation.
- What you might expect during an impending monitoring visit from the Practice
Standards Unit.
- The
process involved in dealing with a regulatory enquiry by the SRA.
The TCP Helpline Service is accessible via the Contact TCP page which asks you to add brief
details about the issue that you wish to discuss and to suggest some times when
it might suit you for a telephone conference.
TCP aims to reply to requests for this service within 48
hours to either deal with the query or to log in a time, convenient to you, when we can
call you back.
The TCP Helpline Service is charged at a reduced flat fee of £40.00 plus VAT for a
half hour telephone conference. It might
not always be possible to resolve the issue within that time and depending on
the complexity of the issue you might need to send further details or
paperwork for appropriate advice to be given. In that case an hourly rate will
be agreed in order to complete any follow up work.
Please
contact TCP to request a TCP Helpline Service telephone
call.
