PRICE GUIDELINES

The amount charged depends on the service option selected and other factors. Necessary expenses, particularly travel, will be charged in addition to any charges mentioned.

Annual Audit

The annual audit attracts a minimum fee of £700 for a visit to a sole practitioner to £1,500 for a larger firm. Prices will vary depending on the extent of the audit, for instance, if it includes a Solicitors Accounts Rules inspection. 

Practice Management Service

My menu of charges for the Practice Management Service would depend on the number of days per month the firm commits to and the size of the firm. The fee is charged on a daily rate which reduces on a sliding scale the more days per month that I am retained. The service is subject to a three-month notice period.

Lexcel Assessment & Lexcel/Investors in People Consultancy

The cost of an assessment would depend on the assessment body’s charges. Most charge around £600 per day. A Lexcel consultancy project would generally fall within the Practice Management Service and the cost would therefore depend on how many days per month you would wish to engage me. In turn, this will depend on how quickly you wish to prepare for a Lexcel assessment and how much time you can commit to the project yourself. This is usually a matter of individual discussion at the project management stage.

Complaints Handling Service

This service will be charged at an agreed hourly rate unless it falls within the days I am engaged under the Practice Management Service. This service also includes a free annual review of internal and Legal Complaints Service complaints on a firm’s register for firms engaging me on an agreed number of substantive complaints per year.

Bespoke Project work

Any bespoke project work will be charged on an agreed hourly rate or fixed charge unless it falls within the days I am engaged under the Practice Management Service.

Training

Courses at a firm's premises start from £500 and will depend on the number of delegates attending. Quotes can be provided for larger groups at conference facilities near to the firm if required.
