Deputy Head of Professional Conduct for The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons gaining vital knowledge about tribunals, committees and regulatory authorities.
Remuneration Policy Manager for The Law Society building relationships with prominent members of the Judiciary, the Bar Council and the insurance industry.
Practice Standards Adviser for The Law Society visiting firms of solicitors and providing guidance on such matters as regulations, code of conduct, accounts rules, best practice, complaints handling, file reviews and business planning.
Vanessa is an established trainer for Progressive Legal Training and has also conducted seminars and workshops for such organisations as The Institute of Legal Executives, The Criminal Law Solicitors’ Association, UK200 Group, local law societies and law firms nationwide.
Vanessa has also provided advice and checked content for the 4th edition of the Lexcel Office Procedures Manual published by The Law Society.

Vanessa spends her spare time with her husband and 2 dogs either cruising the River Thames on their boat or at home in the garden next to a large pond stocked with Koi, Ghost and Mirror Carp, Tench and Sturgeon. Angling is also one of Vanessa's favourite pastimes and her largest fish is a 15lb Barbel, one of the largest to be caught on her local stretch of the Thames. In the little spare time she has left, Vanessa is studying for an MSC in Strategic Management at Bristol University.
